7-Day Northern Tanzania Safari: Serengeti, Ngorongoro & Tarangire

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to your lodge in Arusha. Enjoy a welcome dinner and overnight stay while preparing for your safari adventure.

Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive. Explore this UNESCO World Heritage site and observe dense wildlife populations, including lions, elephants, rhinos, hippos, and buffalo. Picnic lunch in the crater and return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Drive across the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands toward the Serengeti National Park. Arrive in time for an afternoon game drive. Witness vast herds of zebras, wildebeest, and the chance to spot the Big Five. Overnight at a Serengeti lodge or tented camp.

Spend a full day exploring the Serengeti’s endless plains with morning and afternoon game drives. Search for predators in action, enjoy wildlife photography, and experience the seasonal wildebeest migration if visiting between June and October. Overnight at your lodge or tented camp.

After breakfast, drive back to Arusha for your departure flight. Depending on your flight schedule, you may stop en route for a short game drive or local cultural visit.
